Scope and Contents of the Materials
Gladys Frances Norris (1912-2008) was born in Madison County, Kentucky to John and Virginia Norris. She attended Kavanaugh School in Madison County, Kentucky as a child and received an A.B. from the Eastern Kentucky State Teachers College in 1934. After college Miss Norris taught at Waco High School, Kingston High School and Madison Central High School. She also taught at Campo Alegre in Caracas, Venezuela from 1952-1953 and at the Dhahran Senior Staff School in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia from 1954 to 1957. She married Frank A. Hagenow of Nebraska and both are buried in the Richmond Cemetery.
