Scope and Contents: This is a collection of land records which were found in the Townsend Room collections with no provenance. They have been arranged together to provide access to the materials. The records include agreements, deeds, grants, surveys and warrants. Some of the early warrants are signed by prominent citizens of Virginia and Kentucky.
