- Includes several articles about textbooks, about the women who are pushing for improved education, and numerous articles about education at all levels, Several letters and telegrams about the County Unit law are also included as well as a letter from L.M. Montgomery and one from Eliza Calvert Hall regarding books they had published.

- Ruric N. Roark obituary, scandal involving the theft of answers to test questions, Kentucky State Fair, Harrodsburg anniversary, Crabbe's appointment to Eastern president, construction of Kentucky State buildings, Roark Building cornerstone laid, location of the Western Normal School, textbooks, school suffrage, segregation and school funding are all covered in this volume. Articles about education at all levels across the state are also included.

- Includes a Ruric N. Roark obituary and a number of articles about Chautauquas, James B. McCreary, national education news, the Normal School and Model Laboratory School and the faculty at both. Articles on G.D. Smith's work with growing fruit in the mountains of Kentucky, an article regarding reparations for the bombing of the Lustania and notices of Dr. Crabbe leaving Eastern are also included.
