Scope and Contents of the Materials

A scrapbook with history about the Tuttle family of Clark County, Kentucky. The scrapbook consists of notes, ephemera, correspondence, news clippings and photographs taped over a History of Kentucky, Illustrated by W.H. Perrin. Of particular note is a letter relaying information that James A. Tuttle died of illness shortly after the Battle of Vera Cruz, Mexico.

Physical Access Note: Volume is extremely fragile and should not be photocopied. Items have been taped into the book with duct tape, electrical tape and scotch tape causing much damage to the contents.
