Folder 1: Committee on Academic Affairs, 1973-1974

Contains correspondence with the Committee on Academic Affairs, a report on open houses, a cost-analysis of self-regulated hours for women, a memo including a list of faculty committees, and a report on allowing students to view their social records.

Folder 2: Committee on Affirmative Action, 1974

Contains general Affirmative Action plans and a book regarding the Affirmative Action Plan for Equal Employment Opportunity.

Folder 6: Committee on Concerned Students for Better Richmond, 1973

Folder 7: Committee on Dorm Services and Conditions, 1972-1973

Contains a report on dorm services and conditions, additions to the report, a memo regarding responses to a questionairre on dorm halls, copies of the questionairre, a message from the Residence Director regarding additional rules to the campus living handbook, job descriptions for resident assistants, a form from the Lexington Tenants Union, an application for residence hall housing, a copy of a residence hall contract from the University of Kentucky, and information on refrigerator rentals.

Folder 8: Committee on Drug Abuse, 1971-1973

Contains a journal with notes on drugs, letters about potential methods for combatting drug abuse, correspondence about meetings of the Drug Abuse Committee, a copy of a newspaper article about the effects of marijuana, pamphlets on drug abuse, a notice with an application for people to join the Drug Abuse Committee, a statement to the Committee on Drug Abuse, information on drug abuse programs, drug research reports, and a copy of the Kentucky School Journal on students and drug abuse.

Folder 9: Committee on Drug Abuse, 1971-1973

Contains a notebook with notes detailing meetings of the Drug Abuse Committee.

Folder 10: Committee on Elections, 1970-1971

Contains a list of members on the Election Committee and rules for the Fall elections.

Folder 11: Committee on Energy Crisis, 1973-1974

Contains correspondence establishing a committee to focus on conserving energy at the university, a list of energy conservation suggestions, minutes from meetings of the Energy Crisis Committee, and a letter regarding awards for students who put in significant effort to conserve energy.

Contains a list of program possibilities for residence halls, including films.

Contains justification of a budget request for the 1969-1970 fiscal year from the Finance Commttee.

Contains a counseling center questionairre from the Student Health Services Committee, minutes from meetings of the committee, and answers submitted to an inquiry about a crisis center.

Folder 16: Committee on Student Rights and Responsibilities, 1966-1969

Contains joint statements on rights and freedoms of students, a pamphlet titled "Know Your Rights" from the Kentucky Civil Liberties Union, and a report on student participation in college and university government.

Folder 17: Committee on Student Rights and Responsibilities, 1971

Contains a preliminary report from the Committee on Student Rights and Responsibilities.

Folder 18: Committee on Student Rights and Responsibilities, 1975

Contains an article from the Eastern Progress about campus police being granted the power of arrest, a list of student rights in disciplinary cases from the Office of Student Affairs, correspondence regarding the Student Rights and Responsibilities Committee, and revisions to student rights and responsibilities.

Folder 19: Committee on Suicide and Drug Confidentiality, 1973

Contains an executive order naming Nick Buckley the chairman of the Suicide and Drug Confidentiality Committee and an interview with Nick Buckley and Dr. Tolar regarding suicide and drug confidentiality.

Folder 20: Committee on University Fire Safety, 1972-1973

Contains minutes from meetings of the Fire Safety Committee, observations about fire alarm systems in dorm halls, and EKU's fire drill procedure.
