Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection consists of publications and other materials relating to World War II. These single items that were found in the Townsend Room and Dorris Museum Collections were pulled together into one artificial collection to provide ease of access for users. The materials document events from the war as well as provide a glimpse into life on the home front. The researcher should also look at the subject heading "World War, 1939-1945" for other materials about World War II.
