Scope and Contents: In the process of writing a book about the potteries of the Waco area, the researchers pulled together scattered information about the potteries of Madison County into one cohesive collection. The collection includes publications, ephemeral material, photographs, documents and correspondence with descendants of the potters being researched. The materials track the history of the various potteries as well as the marks, shapes and glazes used by each.

Comments: Some materials were scanned to share with the museum at the University of Kentucky where the pottery collection is being curated.
