Name: Shearin, Grace Robinson (1902-1988)

Historical Note: Grace Robinson Shearin was a native of Boyle County, KY and graduated from Danville High School. She attended Eastern Kentucky State Normal School and Teachers College in the early 1920s, graduating in 1924. Miss Robinson returned to Danville where she taught at the Broadway Elementary School and at the Mary G. Hogsett Elementary School. She married Joe Shearin and they lived on a farm until his death, but she retained a life-long interest in farming and her past students.
