Scope and Contents: The Jimmy Taylor Photographs include portraits, many taken for Eastern Kentucky University and local high schools, weddings, organizations, local events, buildings and much more. A portion of Taylor's business included making duplicates for individuals and besides copying and retouching old family photographs he also copied military discharges, family Bibles, vital records, business records and more. This collection consists of over thirty thousand images in various formats including negatives, prints and milk glass, many of which are scanned.
