Scope and Contents: This collection consists of manuscript materials that were collected by the Dorris Museum. Some of the collection has been processed either as individual collections or has been added to other artificial collections as appropriate. The items inventoried here are just a small percentage of a collection that had a worldwide scope. Dr. Dorris collected any materials that he found to be interesting without regard to subject. Other materials will be added to this inventory as identified and processed.
Comments:
Materials that belonged with other collections, either because they were donated by the same person as other collections we had in SCA or because they fit into artificial collections that we already have will be moved to those collections.
Materials that have documented provenance will be processed as individual collections.
Dr. Dorris' personal papers will be processed with the Dr Dorris Papers.
Museum documentation will be processed as Dorris Museum Records.
Materials with no provenance will be processed together as the Dorris Museum Collection.
