Name: Todd, Mary P. (1882-1979)

Historical Note: Mrs. Mary Pieratt Todd, born on January 28th 1892 in Wolfe County, was the wife of Holman S. Todd, daughter of Henry F. Pieratt and Alice Combs Pieratt, and sister of Harold Pieratt, Tom S. Pieratt, and Henry Bruce Pieratt. She was the mother of Elwood Todd and grandmother of Holman P. Todd and Carl P. Todd. Mrs. Todd was a member of the Pond (White Oak) Christian Church, the American Association of Retired Persons, the Christian Women's Fellowship, and a charter member of the Pond Homemakers Club. She died on January 3rd, 1979 at the age of 86 in her home at Meadowlark Drive after fighting a long illness.
