Title: Chautauqua Lecture Series, 2000-present
Administrative/Biographical History
The Chautauqua lecture series was started by Bruce MacLaren in 2000 with hopes of not only bringing in the brightest minds in all fields of study to speak, but to attract students, faculty, and the public to listen and become involved in the debate. The series has goals of refreshing minds, renewing intellectual curiosity, encouraging individual expression and promoting civil discourse while exploring a single significant idea.
