Item 1: Jim [Squires] to [Miss Floyd], nd

Jim is serving in Germany after victory had been declared for Europe. Although he signed the letter Jim, The Compass which he mentioned in the letter includes his full name. He doesn't specifically address a recipient; however, he mentions the Floyd mansion on Lancaster Ave. It is possible that he is writing to Mary Floyd, but that can't be determined from this letter.
