Collection Overview
Abstract
Records documenting the activities of the Richmond Rotary Club.
Scope and Contents of the Materials
This collection documents the activities of the Richmond, Kentucky Rotary Club from it's beginning in 1922 through the present. The bulk of the collection is scrapbooks which begin in 1922 and document the organization's activities through news clippings, documents and programs of meetings and events. There is a gap in the scrapbooks from 1941-1955. In the 1990s and 2000s photographs and albums document activities. Rotary regularly sponsors humanitarian projects and these are documented in the records as well.
