Scope and Contents: The records of the Office of Sports Information, which reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for External Affairs, consist of eleven boxes of material arranged in alphabetical order by folder title and chronologically within each folder. The records cover the years from 1977 to 1984 and deals with all aspects of Eastern's intercollegiate athletic programs. Information on individual football and men's and women's basketball games appears along with year-end cumulative statistics, newspaper clippings of games, sports program advertisers, and press releases. Newspaper articles have been photocopied for preservation purposes.
